Directors: The Directors are the official governing body of the
College for Bishops, overseeing all matters of the College, including
structure, finances, programs and curriculum. This group of appointed bishops
and leaders from around the Church meets with the Advisory Committee to assess
past performance and plan for the future.
Advisory Committee:
This group of carefully selected Church leaders provides
insights, vision, and counsel to the Directors about various aspects of
the program and courses of the College. The Committee members also serve as advocates of the
College for Bishops by promoting the program and course offerings as
well as supporting efforts to further stabilize the organization.
Curriculum Committee: Selected for their skills in course design, development and formational resources related to the life and ministry of a bishop, this group is charged with recommending the scope, content, design, and development of the programs and courses offered by the College for Bishops (other than the continuing education sessions offered at the House of Bishops meetings).
House of Bishops Continuing Education Committee: Committee members are selected from within the House of Bishops Planning Committee to work with the College for Bishops in the planning, development, and implementation of continuing education sessions held at each meeting of the House of Bishops.
