Selected for their skills in course design,
development and formational resources related to the life and ministry of a
bishop, this group is charged with recommending the scope, content, design, and
development of the programs and courses offered by the College for Bishops
(other than the continuing education sessions offered at the House of Bishops
meetings).

The Rt Rev’d Mark Hollingsworth
The Bishop of Ohio, Mark was ordained in 1982, and previously served as Chaplain to the Cathedral School for Boys in San Francisco, Associate Rector of St. Francis in-the-Fields Church in Kentucky, Rector of St. Anne’s in-the-Fields in Massachusetts, and Archdeacon of the Diocese of Massachusetts. He received his B.A. from Trinity College and his M.Div. from CDSP.

The Rt Rev’d F. Clayton Matthews
Clay is the Bishop for the Office of Pastoral Development and Managing Director of the College for Bishops. Bishop Matthews was ordained in 1973 and consecrated as Bishop Suffragan in the Diocese of Virginia in 1993 after having served as Canon to the Ordinary for 8 years. He served previously in Atlanta as a school chaplain, North Carolina as an assistant and in Virginia as rector of a church. He received his B.A. from Hampton Sydney College, his M. Div. from Virginia Theological Seminary and his D.D. from Virginia Theological Seminary. |

The Rt Rev’d Bavi E. Rivera
Nedi Rivera is Bishop Suffragan of the Diocese of Olympia. Ordained to the diaconate in 1975, the priesthood in 1979 and the episcopacy in 2005, she served congregations in the Dioceses of California and El Camino Real. She received her A.B. from Wheaton College (Massachusetts) and her M. Div. from Church Divinity School of the Pacific (Berkeley, CA.) |

The Rt Rev’d V. Gene Robinson
Gene is the IX Bishop of New Hampshire, where he previously served for 18 years as Canon to the Ordinary. He holds a B.A. in American Studies from The University of the South, Sewanee, TN and an M.Div. from General Theological Seminary in New York. |

The Rt Rev’d G. Porter Taylor
The Rt Rev'd G. Porter Taylor was consecrated as the fifth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina Sept. 18, 2004. He grew up in Asheville, N.C., and earned his B.A. degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his M.A. in English from the University of South Carolina, and his Ph.D. degree in theology and literature from Emory University. He received his M.Div. from The School of Theology at Sewanee and served at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Franklin, Tenn. Before his call to the Holy and Sacred Order of Bishops, he served seven years as rector of St. Gregory the Great Episcopal Church in Athens, GA. |

The Rt Rev’d Dean E. Wolfe
Dean E. Wolfe has been Bishop of Kansas since Jan. 1, 2004. He previously served at St. Michael and All Angels, Dallas, and Trinity Copley Square, Boston. He was ordained a priest in 1992 after graduating from Virginia Theological Seminary. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University of Ohio, and VTS awarded him an honorary doctorate in 2004. |
